🍫 Health-Promoting Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw A2-A2 cream (can use heavy cream or regular cream)

  • ½ cup raw A2-A2 milk

  • 2–4 free-range, farm-fresh egg yolks (use 4 for extra richness)

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup maple sugar
    –or– 2 tbsp maple sugar + 2 tbsp raw honey

  • 1 tbsp raw butter

  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.

  2. Blend on medium-high until fully smooth and frothy, about 30–60 seconds.

  3. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes). We enjoy the Cuisinart ice cream maker.

  4. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or freeze for 1–2 hours for a firmer scoop.

Yield:

Makes about 3–4 servings (approximately 1 pint of ice cream).

👉 For a family our size, we multiply the recipe by 4 to make 2 quarts.
