Raw Milk - 1 Share (2 half Gallon jars)
Farmers are prevented from marketing and selling their raw milk from their farms. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get real, raw, from the cow, farm fresh milk. The simple solution is to own a share of the cow, thus the milk belongs to you!
Real, raw milk is unprocessed, just as it comes from the cow. It is not pasteurized, which kills the good bacteria which help you digest it
Many people find they can enjoy raw milk, while their “lactose intolerance” proves to be a homogenization and pasteurization intolerance. Whole raw milk contains all the vitamins and minerals the cows stashed in there in perfect balance and perfectly bio-available to your body, without irritating your immune system.
We offer two sizes for your convenience, 1 share is equivalent to 1 gallon (2 jars) OR 1/2 share is equivalent to 1/2 gallon (1 jar).
Note: A signed herd share agreement is REQUIRED before purchasing per Michigan law.
At Milk Maids Market, we handle all contracts, payments, and deliveries, and we provide local pickup options.
Herd Shares are a legal way to obtain raw milk in the State of Michigan. We don't sell raw milk; you receive it as a member of the herd share program! (Note: you must be a current herd share member to purchase this product!)
You will sign a legal contract, understanding the risk of raw milk and your responsibility as a member. It is your responsibility to educate yourself about raw milk and the risks associated with it. Raw milk is a perishable item, so please keep it cold on ice. It is brought to you at 35 degrees, and keeping it at 35 degrees will keep it fresh for the longest time.
